'GROW YOUR OWN VEG' FUNDRAISER THIS WEEK - CHASE STEPS UP FOCUS ON FUNDRAISING

Experienced chemical-free grower and retailer, Caroline Robinson, will hold a 'Grow Your Own Vegetables' talk with all proceeds going to CHASE and GM-free Ireland.

The event will be held in The Victoria Hotel, Patrick St, Cork on Wednesday 22nd April at 7.30pm, and the entrance fee is €10 euro.

A Spokesperson for CHASE said "With a week to go to the Oral Hearing, we need now to step up our fundraising efforts. Even with a big volunteer team, and many experts donating their time on a 'pro-bono' basis, we expect the Oral Hearing to be a very costly process.

We are extremely grateful to Caroline for offering her expertise and sharing the proceeds of this event with CHASE, and have a number of other offers for future events. We will also be launching an on-line fundraising campaign soon."

Caroline will talk about starting a garden, preparing the soil, making compost, sowing seeds, caring for plants and getting the most from polytunnels.

The Oral Hearing is due to commence on Monday 27th April at 11am at Cork Airport Hotel.
