Cork Harbour Alliance for a Safe Environment (CHASE) have produced a
fundraising cookbook “Cooking Cork Harbour”, which will be launched by Santa
Claus as the perfect stocking filler, at the Crawford Café, Crawford Gallery,
Cork today at 10.00am. Representatives
from contributing restaurants will also be present.
The book is a collection of recipes that have been gathered from the
Harbour area to support fundraising for the CHASE anti-incinerator
campaign. Recipes were donated by
individuals, public figures and restaurants, and contributors include:
Cllr Peter Kelly, FG; Dan Boyle, TD; Myrtle Allen,
Ballymaloe House; Tom McSweeney, RTE;
Quay Co-Op; Fenns Quay Restaurant; Jacques Restaurant;
Oz Haven Restaurant.
Over 100 recipes have been included in the 106 page book, with a special
section on Festive Cooking. Cooking Cork Harbour
will be available from contributing restaurants, members of the CHASE group,
and selected health stores.
