CHASE PRESS RELEASE - 2 October, 2009 CHASE have written to An Bord Pleanala formally requsting clarification on any Indaver involvement in preliminary discussions with An Bord Pleanala regarding a Hazardous Ash Dump proposed by Murphy Environmental in Naul, and seeking details of meetings, if any took place, with An Bord Pleanala at which Indaver staff or agents may have been present, either in person or by telephone. "The fact that the proposed Ringaskiddy
Plant, which is due for a final decision shortly by An Bord Pleanala,
was factored into the discussion as part of the overall volumes is
our concern," said Mary O'Leary, CHASE Chairperson. Indaver qualify as major stakeholders with regard to the Naul proposal and it is appropriate to ask, and important to clarify if Indaver have had any contact with An Bord Pleanala when their own Ringaskiddy application is in the final stages of consideration. A decision on the proposed Ringaskiddy Incinerator is due on 31st October, 2009. ENDS Contacts: |
