Press release - 2 February, 2005 CHASE is delighted to welcome Dromcolleher students who are walking from their college in Co. Limerick to the proposed incinerator site at Ringaskiddy. The group left Limerick on Monday and will arrive in Ringaskiddy on Saturday. The group show their support for the environment by undertaking an organised walk each year. On their journey they visit schools, promoting care for the natural world and the environment. While on their travels they also plant trees . . . they push their materials on a cart and camp along the way. Raising awareness about nature by speaking to children in this informal and fun way helps promote a love of their environment. On the walk the group will also be joined by other students from a sister college in Kinsale. We are heartened to have our efforts recognised by both colleges. CHASE are looking forward to meeting the students at the end of their journey and welcoming them to Ringaskiddy with some music and refeshments. ENDS
